The first 20 years in PALOMAT® red

Had Area Manager Majbritt Svane could predict the future 20 years ago, she would probably still not have thought she would play such a great part in the incredible journey of growth that the company, PALOMAT® from Mors, is on — or that she would lead the company to its position as the world's largest manufacturer of pallet magazines.

Majbritt Svane has undoubtedly left her mark on the positive development of the company. Turnover records, an increased bottom line, product development, workforce expansion and more than 60 dealers in over 20 different countries across the world is, as the Jutlanders say, not half bad.

From sales assistant to Area Manager

Not only has the company experienced growth in all areas, with PALOMAT® being the world's leading manufacturer of pallet magazines, but Majbritt Svane also experienced personal development over the last 20 years. Today, her title as sales assistant is replaced with Area Manager and day-to-day leader of the 12 employees in sales, construction and marketing in the still-growing company from Mors.

Even though we are growing, and are currently the market leader, there is always room for us to improve. I am not fond of inactivity — which is a mindset shared by everyone on the team, and which defines how we work. It certainly doesn't make my work any less awesome!"
 

Team spirit is a must

Mondays begin with a team song and high fives. The celebration of personal victories — and especially shared ones — is a fixed part of how business is done at PALOMAT®. Good PALOMAT® vibes, as Majbritt Svane also describes it, are a fundamental requirement for her. Going to work needs to be fun — even after 20 years. Smiling, Majbritt Svane makes no secret of the fact that there is plenty of room for joking around;

"At the office we joke about how I need to go on for another 20 years, and then I will be able to visit HRH. Queen Margrethe II to be awarded the Queen's Medal of Merit as part of my 40th anniversary. Which of course is a challenge I am willing to accept."
